Located in the Parkland Tourist Region of Manitoba, Riding Mountain National Park is a island of wilderness in a sea of agricultural land. Wasagaming is on Highway 10, 1 hour north of Brandon, 2 hours north of the U.S. border, 1.5 hours east of the Saskatchewan border, and 45 minutes south of Dauphin.
Located on the shore of Clear Lake, Wasagaming is the main townsite of Riding Mountain National Park. Wasagaming is 12 minutes north of Erickson, and 4km North of Onanole on Highway 10. The liquor store and beer vendor for Wasagaming are located in Onanole.
The Wasagaming Townsite is located on the south side of Clear Lake. After entering the Park gates you can take the first left to get into the town, or continue to the second left for the Wasagaming Campground, or turn at the first right for the Elkhorn Resort & Conference Centre / Solstice Spa and to the Onanole Campground (follow signs).
